FLAVOR FIELDS, 2002
In FLAVOR FIELDS a particular idea has been put into practice. Light gives color to form, matter gives form to color. A transparent tape attached to different objects has been painted until the color disappears in the empty space. A process of dematerialization is being displayed, as well the other way round – the invisible light gets materialized. A certain disbelief in empty spaces is being depicted, with the means of a metaphor. The aura of the objects creates a spectrum, defined by uncommon energy network. The objects seem to perform themselves in the space, a formula of extraordinary existence. Emotions are being created scientifically.
Installation; found objects, transparent tape, acrylic paint, fishing line fixed from the ceiling to the ground; dimensions variable.
